"Deva Loka", 2008I love the intricate use of colors. So much detail in this artwork that you definitely can't look at it just once. Notice all the creatures and how interesting they are displayed. I think it gives a very manga-like quality. This artist happens to be Yoshitaka Amano. He's worked in character design for anime shows, illustrations for science fiction and fantasy, conceptual design for video games, and much more. Usually well known from the Final Fantasy video games.
His work brings some inspiration and thoughts for the "future" assignment in computer art class. The possibly of different creatures coming to life, the look and design of buildings that can evolve, or maybe a world that just goes back and balances both technology with nature. Ideas just keep going back and forth in my mind.
